Robert Gluck Concert

Pianist, electronic musician and University at Albany professor Bob Gluck will be offering the premiere performance of Faith for piano and computer (2008) by noted composer Neil Rolnick. The concert is Wednesday, February 4, at 8 pm in the Staller Recital Hall. Other pieces on the program include Richard Teitelbaum's Seq Transit Parammers (1998) for pianist, two Disklaviers and interactive performance system, and Bob Gluck's Waking the Sleeping Giant (2008), his electroacoustic re-visioning of Herbie Hancock's Sleeping Giant suite (1972).

The Sonic Residues Concert will take place in the Wang Center Theatre at Stony Brook University on May 12 at 7:30. The show includes Ray Anderson, Matthew Burtner, Martin Loyato, Odd Nosdam, Video Savant, Kinesthetech Sense, Radio Wonderland, Pamela Z, and other musicians. The concert will be followed by an DJ/VJ Party at the University Café, featuring music by Odd Nosdam and video by Luke DuBois.
