Abundance is a walk-in diorama, frontal and flattened like a stage set, made from mythologies of natural abundance. The source material for the drawings in Abundance were taken from early woodcuts by European explorers that illustrate a New World nature that is resource rich, untamed, unspoiled, sexualized, and ripe for conquest. The animations set into the wooden cutouts are humorous re-narrations set to the audio tracks of educational videos about cloning, factory farming, animal domestication, wildlife management, and other contemporary narratives of abundance.
