Ever fascinated by performance, Christa has tried her hand in many voice-over, usherette, and acting roles in videotapes. 'Doctor Erickson', science expert, from the BLO (Barbie Liberation Organization) 1994 tape Operation Newspeak is her alter ego and personal favorite.

She has collaborated with performance artist Stephanie Heyl on sets and props for her performance Sly Boots and the Other Women - I am Gone Wrong, 1994.

She was also video editor for Carl and Karen Pope's video performance Palimpsest, 1999.
